Gestuario

The Gestuario series is born from thoughts and memory in the act of painting within the landscape. In this way, starting from the paintings and notes taken au plein air, thoughts arose about the dynamic and gestural process that landscape painting au plein air requires. The journey to find a point that acclaims us, the walk of recognition and self-knowledge, the brush strokes on the painting that changes depending on the sensations of the environment and the moment.

The result is a series of 20 paintings made in fumage that tries to synthesize different aspects of outdoor painting in a kind of dictionary in the form of pictograms. (Tours, gestures, sensations, difficulties, etc.)
